サジ・ハミード：イベルメクチンの危険性（英文）

友人の会津大学教授サジ・ハミード氏のまとめた資料です。時間がなくて翻訳はまだしていません。とりあえず出しておきます。

Dear All,

I have been a bit worried about the growing interest in Ivermectin within Japan. I asked

several of my Indian friends and relatives about Ivermectin, and they claim they have not

heard about this drug. I asked people in my state of Kerala only.

I tried to find some papers which looked at Ivermectin toxicity and I am a bit concerned

that it may have some toxic effects, especially for weak and older people and for

pregnant women. Also, there is a little bit worry about fertility.

日本国内でイベルメクチンへの関心が高まっていることに少し不安を感じています。
インド人の友人や親戚にイベルメクチンについて聞いてみましたが、彼らはこの薬について聞いたことがないと言っています。私の住んでいるケララ州の人だけに聞いてみました。

イベルメクチンの毒性を調べた論文をいくつか探してみましたが、特に体の弱い人や高齢者、妊娠中の女性にも毒性があるのではないかと心配しています。また、不妊症についても少し心配です。
